Epidural Injections

Epidural injections utilize anti-inflammatory medications to decrease swelling and inflammation along the nerves and discs in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Decreasing the inflammation and removing the causes of sciatic and back pain will result in symptoms resolving quickly, in most cases.

The duration of these injections typically averages from 2-3 months. Although this may seem minimal, it does give the affected area time to heal so that the pain does not return. This procedure is a great non-surgical technique that is minimally invasive and has the ability to relieve acute pain.
